I'd point to the injustice universe, in which Trigon goes 1 on 1 with Mr Mxzptlk in a straight up brawl. Trigon is a high level king of hell (or the equivalent) and Darkseid is ruler of Apokolpis which is also its own realm in the DC Universe. If they were ever to actually clash I think the deciding factor would be that as /u/slimmsy points out, Trigon is a Teen Titans villain, which just puts him lower on the totem pole than a Justice League villain.
But given the feats as well, Darkseid would probably win. It wasn't that even with Trigon having a decent advantage, but by no means was it as stompy as it was in the other movie.
