Good bed, but it had so many parts!!! Can be painted in a favorite color and recycled. It should work while my kids are small, but I did notice the bottomw boards bend easily when my little 4 year old moves from one area to another. I did it completely alone. … They are sturdy and the grand kids love them! Overall, it's a good bunk for my little ones.

I bought this for my this for my stepdaughters as an upgrade from their Sniglar beds and they both were ecstatic!
There is only one opening in the guardrails, reducing the risk of falling from the upper bed. Max load indicates static weight, in other words the load which the bed withstands if you lie or sit on it. Contemplated spending more but happy we went this route.
Except that, it also makes bedtime more fun when you can share your bedroom with siblings, relatives or friends. I had no problem.
