The May Fair Hotel London includes a great selection of 5 star services and facilities to satisfy the most refined guests. It is the least I expect from any hotel in todays world. Earlier on in the day, May Fair Bar is a relaxing and calm place for a morning meeting or brunch with friends. For what it bills itself as ie: "Posh", it's certainly not. … Hotel is older, thus the rooms are a bit smaller than more recently built properties, but my room was in good condition and repair, with the bathroom spotless and linens new and fresh.Front deck staff were friendly & professional, and did not bat an eye when I asked to delay my check out an hour so I could finish a meeting then go back to the room and change before heading back to NY. In the end we actually made use of their normal offer of 3 courses for £25. The breakfast was fantastic. Impeccible service from the doormen, conceirge and reception. I tried the restaurant for breakfast once and it was the most disappointing experience ever at a hotel restaurant as the food was cold and none of the waiters we had spoke good English or could not understand me. Fast-forward to our 10-day trip this November and my desire to be in the heart of London.The Westbury (Mayfair) met all my expectations. My best advice is to sign up to their website and keep your eyes open for deals.
