Although I'm an avid baker, I had never baked a cake bigger than standard 9" rounds or 9"x13", so I was nervous that a half sheet would either dome in the middle, not cook all the way through, have overcooked sides, crack when I removed it from the pan, etc.

I have some round pans and just ordered a sheet pan by Fat Daddios. Whether you making a single layered cake or a double layered, or even a multi tear and leveled cake the round style will always be great. It’s not just a suggestion, either—just ask the reviewers who tried using the dishwasher and ruined their pans. This is quite common with many bakeware these days; a lot of them are made 3 inches high as against the conventional 2 inches. Now that I've used this great pan, I can't go back to using those old, thin, warped pans. With a standard 2-inch pan, there would be a risk of the cheesecake overflowing, which would make a mess inside the Instant Pot. The other one is stamped more sharply and looks shinier, simply stamped 9" x 3" below "Fat Daddio's". As that's not the case with Fat Daddio's pans, I originally didn't intend to post a review. I do agree with other reviewers that the stickers placed in the center of the pans needs to be revised. The other pan was made in China and has a different stamp on the bottom. Now I would be afraid to use it so it will go in the trash. Happily, the crust wasn’t soggy at all, so we’ll definitely be eliminating that extra step for future cheesecakes.
Brownie batter, bread dough, and most cake batter would be fine since the weight of the mixture presses down the removable base and keeps it in place. I've had this issue with Fat Daddio's loaf pans, too, purchased elsewhere. I've owned two of these pans and have been quite happy with their performance.

When we pushed from the bottom, it lifted with no sticking, and we just had to slide it off of the base and onto a serving plate. I own all sizes and prefer this brand to bake my cakes!
Great deal, amazing bakeware!!! They are sturdy, my cakes always turn out perfectly, and they are easy to clean.
