They both trade personal insults at one another until the Red Queen walks away. No matter how much magical force she exerts against Jafar's other prisoner, he refuses to betray the manner of how Cyrus escaped the lair. Jafar, who had an agreement with the Red Queen, shows up on one of her palace's balconies and she informs him that Alice is back and looking for her genie, which she implies is what they wanted. After escaping her life and going with her boyfriend Will from the Enchanted Forest to Wonderland, she finds that they are still in poverty, they are just in another realm. Seeing as Anastasia is struggling to use magic, the Queen of Hearts guides her into letting go of her need for approval from others as well as her feelings of unworthiness. This breaks Jafar's spell, and the former Red Queen frees Alice before telling her to hurry up and defeat the dark wizard who killed her in the first place. In turn, Jafar tells her not to get silly ideas that she has the power to change the laws of magic without him. She meets the Red King, but Will is caug… She looks on in displeasure as he leaves, to which her servants, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, clean up the mess. He releases her, and the bitter Queen reminds him that he's in her turf now, and if he wants her help, their deal remains. Alice collects it up and once they escape the pit, the Red Queen betrays Alice and takes the dust without revealing Cyrus' location.
